A Day in Our HGL Art Preschool's Enrichment Artist Studio
Overview
For Age 2-3
The Art Studio program is specially crafted for young beginners to discover the pure joy of art-making and to build confidence as creative storytellers. This well-designed curriculum is sure to spark children's curiosity and encourage them to explore the wonders of art!
For Age 3-6
The Art Studio program will help young artists explore the various ways to tell a story - building both creativity and critical thinking. At this age, children are beginning to reflect more deeply on themselves and the world around them, from comics to 3D making.
Course Highlight
• Explore Materials – From acrylic and pastels to clay, collage, and printmaking, Children will get hands-on experience with a variety of art tools and textures.
• Meet Great Artists – Children will be introduced to the inspiring artists from both Western and Eastern traditions. They will be amazed at how these artists used color, line, shape, and form to express their ideas.
• Tell Stories Through Art – Children will love this opportunity to express their unique personalities and stories through art. They will have a blast visual journaling, creating comic zines, collages, designing characters with clay, and playing with printmaking.
• Grow as Young Artists – By engaging with diverse artistic approaches, children will not only develop art skills and creative thinking but also gain an early appreciation of visual culture.

Art plays a crucial role in supporting early childhood development. It helps children develop fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, and emotional intelligence. By engaging in art activities, children learn to think critically, problem-solve, and express themselves creatively.

While children enjoy their enrichment class druning 3:30 PM-5:50 PM, parents or caregivers are invited to unwind at our cozy on-site cafe, Lucky Lucky Coffee. Enjoy a complimentary latte, LLC coffee, or tea while you relax, read, or connect with other families — a little moment of calm while your child learns and plays.
