Carrington Symone is an accomplished early childhood educator, bilingual language specialist, and professional performing artist with an exceptional academic background spanning education, language, and the performing arts. She holds a Master of Music (M.M.) in Vocal Performance – Music Theatre from New York University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Politics. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education with a Bilingual Extension at Teachers College, Columbia University, one of the nation's leading graduate schools of education.

Carrington specializes in bilingual early childhood education, integrating Spanish language acquisition with inquiry-based learning, music, movement, dramatic play, and creative expression. Her interdisciplinary approach creates rich, engaging learning experiences that foster language development, cognitive growth, social-emotional learning, and cultural awareness. She believes young children learn best through meaningful interactions, hands-on exploration, and joyful discovery in an environment where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired.

Carrington is passionate about developing innovative educational experiences that nurture children's confidence, creativity, communication, and global perspectives. Her expertise bridges academic excellence with artistic expression, allowing children to build strong foundational skills while cultivating imagination and a lifelong love of learning.

In addition to her work in education, Carrington is an accomplished professional performer who has appeared on New York City's stages, including Off-Broadway productions. Her experience in music, theatre, storytelling, and performance enriches her classroom, where she naturally incorporates singing, dramatic play, movement, and the performing arts into children's daily learning experiences.

At HGL ART Preschool, Carrington serves as both Head Teacher and Spanish Teacher, leading a classroom that reflects the school's commitment to academic excellence, multilingual education, creativity, and whole-child development. She is dedicated to creating an inspiring, internationally minded learning environment where every child is empowered to explore, communicate confidently in multiple languages, express themselves creatively, and thrive both academically and personally.
